Guess what guys, I got oppo today in a fwd. :D I was driving home in my honda accord, and I took a corner perfectly and felt the rear just slide out. It wasn't even wet or anything! I didn't even realize it at the time. It just sorta happened and I realized that it felt...good, and left a smile on my face. This new skill is going to be a lot of fun.

I broke one of my CV joints a few months ago because of FWD oppo. I decided to spend the day perfecting my Scandinavian Flick on the dirt roads around campus. Then I found a hairpin turn that ran up too close to a stream and was perpetually mud. Ignoring the fact that it was getting late, I had no phone service, and I hadn't seen a house for miles, I decided to just blow through it and please the Great Stig in the Sky. I managed to find a pot hole immediately and bottom out. Somehow, I was able to keep going and I got back to school in one piece. My car, unfortunately, has been limping on a sprained ankle ever since.

That sucks man. I oppoed on a perfect left hand 90 degree turn that was uphill. Most of the roads around here are crap, but the few twisty roads I take are through forests so they aren't used much and haved stayed relatively nice compared to the rest of the city. I also used aproximetly 50 miles of gas in about 10 miles according to my trip computer. But yeah, the roads in seattle area suck.

I used to get my old Focus to step its rear out on one on ramp that I would take every day. It is fun but is easy to get carried away with. But as they say "practice makes perfect." Just make sure you have a sign and an announcer with you stating that you are a professional driver on a closed course. . . .

The new STs are, but I had just a plane jane stripper model ZX-3 that I would toss into corners. I was able to disgrace a few owners of some fancy cars in the old Focus. I would keep up with cars I had no business keeping up with in the turns.

It eventually got to the point of being able to four wheel drift the car if it was wet out.

Doesn't matter what kind of car you have, whether it be muscle or jdm or exotic, or how much it costs, every car is good at something. For example ferraris are good at catching on fire. But what do you think about the gti compared to focus?
